Welcome to the homepage of the London Board Games Club. We play board games like Apocalypse, RoboRally, Diplomacy,
Risk, Railroad Tycoon, Junta, Game of Thrones, Carcassonne, Kingmaker, Bang!, Republic of Rome, Settlers of Catan, Cosmic
Encounter, Torres, Blood Royale, Puerto Rico, Labyrinth, Kremlin, Antike, Imperial, and so on. Plus sometimes
inventing games, or game-variants, and playtesting each other's game ideas.
Site set up June 2002. Club started August 2002 and going well in 2008. New members welcome. Membership
free and informal.
The venue is in Ealing, West London (UK). So far, it's at my home (I have a spacious home with a room or two away
from our small kids). Get the address by emailing me. Handy for board game players in Ealing, Acton, Chiswick,
Kew, Richmond, Brentford, Greenford, Wembley, Harrow, Shepherd's Bush, Hammersmith, Fulham etc. (That list should help browsers
find this site, eg by "games+Chiswick").
We meet about every second or third Sunday. We start at 2.30 and finish around 7.30, so that players
can still go off to an evening commitment afterwards. For variety, we also meet up on occasional Wednesday or Thursday evenings
on an ad hoc basis,
